Carveeps, Inc., a California corporation ("Carveeps") respects the privacy of its customers, business partners, employees, job applicants, and App visitors ("You" and "your"). Protecting your private information is our priority. This Privacy Policy (the "Policy") describes how we treat data and Personal Information that Carveeps collects and receives through this mobile application (the "App") and other aspects of Carveeps's business, whether online or offline.

This Policy does not apply to the practices of companies that Carveeps neither owns nor controls. By using and accessing the App, you agree to the terms and conditions of this Policy. This Policy may change from time to time, and your continued use of the App after we make changes is deemed to be acceptance of those changes. Please check the Policy periodically for updates.

1. Personal Information Collection

We may collect Personal Information from you. By providing us with your personal information (including your sensitive information), you consent to the collection, use, disclosure, and storage of that personal information as set out in this Privacy Policy.

To provide services offered by Carveeps, we must process information about you, including Personal Information, whether or not you are registered or logged in. However, we do not use your data for automated decision making.

This Section does not apply to California-based job applicants, employees, contractors, or similar individuals. Please see Section 7 for those categories.

2. How is This Information Collected?

We collect Personal Information through the following means:

  • Directly from you when you provide it to us (identifiers, commercial information, sensitive personal information, sensory data).

  • When you contact our main office for inquiries.
  • When you fill in forms on our App, enter contests, promotions, or report a problem.

No "Selling" or "Sharing": Carveeps does not sell your Personal Information or share it for behavioral advertising purposes. We do not exchange your Personal Information for monetary or other valuable consideration.

  • Performance of a Contract: Where we have a contract with you, we may process your Personal Information to fulfill its terms.

5. Unaffiliated Third-Party Links / App

Our App may contain links to other apps or services that Carveeps neither owns nor operates. We encourage you to read the privacy statements of each third-party website before providing any personal information to them. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties. This Policy will not apply to information you disclose to third parties. To check whether you are on a third-party site, verify the URL in your browser's address bar.

6. Opt-Out and Do-Not-Track Signals

Do Not Track (DNT) is a web browser setting that requests a website disable its tracking of a user's browsing data. We do not directly respond to "Do Not Track" signals, as no common industry standard for DNT has been adopted. We do not permit third parties (other than our analytics and service providers) to track users' activity on the App, and we do not track your online activity on other online services over time.

7. Notice at Collection for Job Applicants, Contractors, or Similar Individuals

Pursuant to the CCPA, this section applies only to Personal Information collected from California residents acting as job applicants, contractors, or similar individuals of Carveeps.

8. Security of Personal Information

We use appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your Personal Information both online and offline, including access controls, firewalls, network intrusion detection, and anti-virus software. We store data necessary for encryption, including public and private keys (private keys are stored encrypted). However, no storage or transmission of data over the Internet is guaranteed to be completely secure. Transmission of Personal Information to and from the App is at your own risk. You should only access the App within a secure environment.

9. Retention of Your Personal Information

Carveeps retains your Personal Information, including sensitive Personal Information, only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this Policy. We will retain and use your Personal Information to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period, except when used to strengthen security, improve functionality, or when required by law.

10. International Data Transfers

The App and Services are provided, supported, and hosted in the United States. If you use the App from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States and other countries, which may have data protection laws different from your country's laws. We have taken appropriate measures to ensure your Personal Information remains protected in accordance with this Policy.

11. Your Rights and Choices

You may request details of the Personal Information we hold about you, subject to some exceptions permitted by law. Carveeps will not charge a fee to consumers exercising their rights under the CCPA or CPRA, unless requests are determined to be manifestly unfounded or excessive.

Right to Access / Know: Request specific pieces of Personal Information collected about you, categories of sources, business purposes for collection, and categories disclosed or sold in the last 12 months.
Right to Correct: Request correction of inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
Right to Request Deletion: Request deletion of Personal Information Carveeps has collected about you.
Right to Opt-Out: Opt out of the sale or sharing of Personal Information.
Right to No Retaliation: You have a right not to receive discriminatory or retaliatory treatment for the valid exercise of your CCPA/CPRA rights.
Right to Limit Use: Request that we limit use and disclosure of your sensitive Personal Information.
Australian Residents — Right to Object: Ask us to stop processing your personal information if we are relying on legitimate interests or processing for direct marketing purposes.

You may only make a request for access or data portability twice within a 12-month period. Government identification may be required.

12. Non-Discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA/CPRA rights. Unless permitted by the CCPA/CPRA, we will not:

  • Deny you goods or services.
  • Charge you different prices or rates for goods or services.
  • Provide a different level or quality of goods or services.
  • Suggest that you may receive a different price, rate, or quality of goods or services.

Note: If you choose to delete your data or close your account, we will not be able to offer you services that require us to use your data.

13. Minors

Carveeps recognizes the privacy interests of children, and we encourage parents and guardians to take an active role in their children's online activities. Neither the App nor our services are directed to children under 13 (or other age as defined by local law). We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children. If we learn that we have collected any Personal Information from a child in violation of applicable law, we will immediately take steps to delete such information. If you learn that your child has provided us with Personal Information without your consent, please contact us using the information provided below.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to change this Policy at any time. If we make any material changes, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page and update our notices on the App. You are responsible for ensuring we have an up-to-date, deliverable email address for you, and for periodically visiting our App and this Policy to check for any changes.
